The center drive thickener primarily consists of a thickening tank, rake mechanism, drive system, rake lifting device, feed assembly, discharge unit, and signal safety devices. In mineral processing plants, it is used for dewatering wet concentrate during beneficiation processes, serving as the initial stage of dehydration (thickening). It can also be deployed between cleaning and filtration stages for intermediate dewatering, and occasionally employed for pre-concentration dehydration prior to cleaning operations.
