Working Principle
The spiral classifier is a mechanical classification device that utilizes the principle that solid particles with different specific gravities settle at different speeds in a liquid. It is widely used in ore dressing plants for closed-circuit circulation with ball mills to separate ore sand, in gravity separation plants for classifying ore sand and fine mud, and in metal ore dressing processes for particle size classification of pulp.
