1. The CTB magnetic separator is a wet-type, low-intensity permanent magnetic drum separator offering energy efficiency, high magnetic intensity, simple structure, cost-effectiveness, easy operation and maintenance, compact footprint, and high processing capacity.
2. Available in three tank configurations: concurrent, counter-rotation, and semi-counter-rotation.
Working Principle
The slurry enters the separation tank through the feed box and flows into the separation zone under hydraulic action. Under the strong magnetic field, magnetic particles are adsorbed onto the rotating drum surface. These particles are carried to the concentrate discharge port where they are flushed by cleaning water into the concentrate box after leaving the magnetic field. Meanwhile, gangue and non-magnetic particles are carried by the slurry flow in the opposite direction of the drum rotation and are discharged through the tailings outlet.
