4. The TD75 belt conveyor is a universal fixed-type belt conveyor widely used in metallurgy, coal, chemical, and water conservancy sectors for handling bulk materials or packaged items.
Working Principle
The belt conveyor operates by utilizing the continuous or intermittent movement of the conveyor belt to transport materials. Its main components include the frame, conveyor belt, rollers, tensioning device, and drive unit. During operation, the drive unit powers the drive drum, which then moves the conveyor belt through friction between the drum and the belt. Materials are loaded onto the moving belt and conveyed along with it.
Discharge typically occurs at the terminal end, though intermediate discharge is also possible. The conveyor belt is propelled by the friction generated between the drive drum and the belt. The drive drum is generally installed at the discharge end to enhance traction and facilitate smoother operation. Materials are fed in at the loading end, deposited onto the moving belt, and transported by friction to the discharge end for unloading.
