Working Principle
The trough feeder is typically installed beneath the discharge outlet of a storage bin. Ore falls onto the carrier plate at the bottom of the trough, which is mounted on rollers. This carrier plate is connected to a double-output shaft reducer via an eccentric mechanism, which in turn is coupled to an electric motor. During operation, the motor drives the reducer through the coupler. The eccentric disk then converts this rotary motion into a reciprocating linear motion, which is imparted to the carrier plate—located between the trough frame and the rollers—enabling uniform and controlled material feeding.
